New twists in ethnographic research

Main Building (Capitolium) in October 2018.

Our university provides us very multidisciplinary environment to carry out research, and often a great chance to create new approaches and methodology. That is why I am going to participate an interesting conference organized here at the University of Jyväskylä in February by several projects and two departments (EUROHERIT, CroBoArts, Intersecting Mobilities, CRISES, Dept. of Music, Art and Cultural Studies and Dept. of History and Ethnology).

Ethnography with a Twist will take place in 12–14 February 2019 and will concentrate, among others, on innovative research methods. This conference will bring together researchers from diverse disciplines in the humanities and social sciences.

The conference will be organized at the University of Jyväskylä, Seminaarinmäki Campus, mainly in the Main Building (Capitolium) of the University of Jyväskylä, designed by Alvar Aalto in the 1950s. Hope to see you there in February!
